From horrible... to not so good... to looking somewhat like truckers! (",)

This one goes out to all you adoring fans who just keep hounding us for a new update!

It's true! We are taking on the form of true truckers!

We have now both driven some serious routes including:  Carver curves, Estacada, Gresham, Sandy, Clackamas and all over I-205. We have both driven the doubles which amount to 72ft in length and 50,000LBS.
We have driven 9 and 10 speeds, dogged bikers, braved crazy hills, and endured the hounding of our slave driver instructors (",)
"ZONE ZONE ZONE!!! Throttle control!!! 1500! 1500! 1500! No 1100! 1100! 1100! Bring it up...Bring it up...Bring it up....BRAKES! BRAKES! BRAKES!!! TURN WIDE! TURN WIDE! Watch your trailer back there! You're going over the double yellow line! You Can't grind the gear like that! Bump! little bump! Big Bump....Big bump! 400 bump! watch your tach! watch your mirrors!.....

In other news:
We have surprisingly gone from total disasters on the off-set and straight backing maneuvers to consistently productive.
We dominated in the 90,back, actually getting the beast of a tractor-trailer repeatedly into the lane-hole in one- with no pull ups (which for those who don't know is awesome!!!)....just to return in following weeks and royally fail...we have now again somewhat recovered able to do the 90 with passing skill but never with quite the finesse we once had...still we are able to do it.
We are progressing in our memorization and fluency in the Pre-Trip inspection.
We have two weekends of School left to polish it all off and then take our State test.
And we are currently in process of filling out applications for multiple companies:

orange
turquoise
blue

 SO....

Go ahead and lookout on the highways and be our eyes and ears look for these trucks amongst you, make some observations: Do the drivers look happy?, Do they look like they get paid well?, Are they driving like maniacs and endangering your lives?....
Then give us all the information you can deduce and cast your votes for which company we should drive for (if you would rather cast your vote based on which color you like best feel free to do so we are taking that into consideration (",))

So there you have it ADORING FANS....
we are well on our way to becoming true truck drivers or as my dad likes to say
"TRUCKER BABES" (",)

  1. You guys are so awesome! I've said it before and I'll say it again: You are some badass mothertruckers. My preliminary vote is turquoise, but that's without yet having actively observed any of these trucks on the road; it's just my favorite color. Anyway, I'm endlessly impressed with your mad skillz. Good hustle, ladies!

  2. Wow, only two more weeks left?? That seems impossible! Congratulations. I always think of you when I see long-haul truckers on the freeway. :) My favorite color is blue, so I naturally vote for one of the blue trucks, but I think any color choice will be awesome - "own it"!
